This week and next on the Post, a celebration of Art UK: paintings that belong to all of us which are hanging or are stored at art galleries round the country, the only link between them being that we had never seen them before until we discovered them on the Art UK site – and loved them! What an incredible project the Public Catalogue Foundation (later PCF/BBC and now Art UK) turned out to be since 2003 when it began: more details here.
