Oddments this week and next, in the run up to Easter and the new Biannually (which should arrive around the 20th April): first a photograph which has been on the Post before but a long time ago: the bookshop is clearly in Sicilian Avenue, by Holborn tube, and the photograph must have been taken in the 1920s. (Getty Images here tells us that the photographer was H W Fincham and that it comes from Wonderful London Volume II 1927; we shall look it up in the library.)
